The primary mission of the International Forum for Reactor Aging Management (IFRAM) is to facilitate global cooperation and a network for those engaged in reactor aging management. IFRAM intended and still intend to gather two kinds of information needed to pursue this mission:
Description of organization’s on-going and planned programs/ projects on reactor aging management
Description of organization’s expertise and capabilities for individuals and groups.
To facilitate the appropriate exchange of information among those parties and organizations around the world that are presently, or are planning to, address issues of nuclear power plant (NPP) systems, structures and components aging management.
